Is it safe to keep running Drupal 7?
Drupal 7 reached end-of-life in January 2025, so it no longer gets official security fixes. We host it safely by adding our own layers — a web application firewall, hardening and constant monitoring — while you decide, with no rush, when to upgrade.
Should I move to Drupal 10/11 or to Backdrop?
It depends on your site. Drupal 10/11 is the modern path for sites that want the latest features; Backdrop is a gentle continuation of the Drupal 7 way of doing things, ideal for smaller sites that want to change as little as possible. We’ll talk it through honestly and recommend the calmer route for you.
Is the migration really free?
Yes. Moving your existing Drupal site onto our managed hosting — files, database, email and DNS — is free and handled by our team. A full version upgrade to Drupal 10/11 or Backdrop is planned with you; for many sites it’s included, and anything larger we’ll quote clearly up front.
Will my site go down during the move?
No. We stage everything first and only switch DNS once you’ve reviewed and approved the copy. The cutover is quick and planned, so visitors don’t notice a thing.
